and bring transformative beauty practices to all.

Our Commitment
The Practitioner's Pathway Scholarship Program is our commitment to opening the world of holistic beauty to those who dream of joining but face financial barriers. Each enrollment session, we offer scholarships to beauty professionals, focusing on those from underserved communities who encounter disproportionate challenges due to race, ethnicity, religion, class, ability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
Furthermore, we offer scholarships to individuals who demonstrate financial need and are actively engaged in work that promotes collective healing within our industry and contributes to educational initiatives in communities striving for collective liberation. These scholarships are available to organizers, non-profit professionals, and volunteers for impact driven initiatives. It's important to note that some scholarship recipients in this category may possess multiple societal advantages, such as being white, male, heterosexual, able-bodied, or cis-gendered. However, they must still exhibit financial need and a commitment to addressing systemic inequities and biases within the communities they serve.

Our goal is to acknowledge and celebrate the diverse origins of holistic wisdom and beauty traditions, which have drawn inspiration from numerous cultures historically underrepresented in modern educational contexts. These environments have primarily focused on the perspectives of white, cisgender, and heterosexual individuals. We are dedicated to reshaping this narrative by elevating and incorporating a broader spectrum of viewpoints and voices within our community.

We kindly ask that folks only apply if they have a financial need, thus increasing access to holistic beauty education for those who wouldn’t otherwise be able to study with us. It’s a step towards ensuring that our program is accessible and beneficial to those who seek to make a difference in the holistic beauty world.
At Of Beauty, our scholarship program is primarily focused on supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals. We acknowledge that our current instructor and student base is predominantly white, middle to upper-class, and cis-hetero. Recognizing this, we are actively working to diversify our team and curriculum. We're committed to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism in all our programs. Scholarship program FAQs

The Of Beauty Scholarship is intended for individuals who have financial need and who are members of underserved groups. This includes those who are BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual), disabled, immigrant, part of an ethnic or religious minority, and/or have limited income.

This scholarship aims to enhance access for individuals from underserved groups who face financial barriers to joining HBPP or OBC. We recognize that financial circumstances vary widely, so we don’t set a specific income threshold for eligibility. If you have disposable income or access to financial resources like savings or family support, we encourage you to utilize these before applying for the scholarship.
This ensures that the program is accessible to those with no other means. If, after evaluating your situation, you find yourself unable to afford the cost of education, we welcome your scholarship application. Scholarship recipients will be chosen using a multi-step process of random selection from qualifying applications combined with manual review. Applicants will complete a short questionnaire about themselves and their goals and aspirations in holistic beauty. We combine random selection with thorough reviews to ensure fairness and reach those who can benefit the most.

Scholarships are awarded only for new course registrations to allow students who could not otherwise do so to start and meet their goals in their holistic beauty education. No refunds will be issued for existing course registrations.
